You must add the backing file at design time to a .portal file and then create a streaming desktop in the admin console based on that .portal file. All desktops created from the .portal file will have the backing file.

I should clarify…. how to add backing file to a desktop created in the admin console, as opposed to the .portal file.

excellent… however I can’t find instructions for adding backing file to skeleton jsps. How did you do it?

One trick I missed is how to add an existing Eclipse project to an existing SVN project. Just right-click on the project and select Share and the plug-in will figure it out so long as you have the svn files and folders in your project. However, this doesn’t work if you are also managing that project through Tortoise

If you forgot, you can right-click on the Deployment Descriptor section in the Project while in Portal Perspective and select Generate Deployment Descriptor to fix this.

You have to run SmartUpdate, select Private, then enter those characters as Patch and Password respectively.
