This is my technology blog. If it is related to any of the technology that I deal with professionally, it will appear here. It should also appear at my original blog, too, but time is often an issue.

I will also often include personal technology entries for two reasons. One is that the decisiveness with which I approach technical challenges appears to end just before I get to activities that are blatant self-promotion, and the other is that most technologists I have met (virtually or personally) are interested in these topics, too. Again, these entries should also appear at Frequently Unasked Questions, especially as the original version was an off-shoot of a column for PC users I wrote for the local newspaper. Eventually I will come up with a way to synch my various blogs up, which I will blog here. But, I digress. Often.

BTW, the phrase “Head in the Web” is a spin on “Head in the Clouds”, rather than a comment on my recreational habits (not one of them). Cloud computing fascinates me, but as I am not yet professionally involved with it, it would be misleading to name this blog after that technology.

My previous blogs have been rather eclectic. I like them that way, but I don’t think most other folks do. Most people expect a single theme, and unless you are Dave Barry, Scott Adams or Brittany Spears*, having the theme as anything the blogger is interested in doesn’t seem to work.

*The eclectic blog is Frequently Unasked Questions, where one of the topics is humor, which I have a hard time controlling.
